Georges St. Pierre vs. Matt Serra GSP vs. Jon Fitch- Fitch is the clear number one contender at this point. He has certainly done more than enough to earn this match and it'll be easy for the UFC to hype this fight up.
Matt Serra vs. Matt Hughes- This fight was already set to happen. The UFC spent a lot of money hyping this fight up and they need to get some money back on their investment. I think this would be a very interesting matchup and I think it'd make for a good fight.
Rich Franklin vs. Travis Lutter Rich Franklin vs. Dean Lister- Rich Franklin is at a very interesting point in his career. He's a guy who's well above the average MW, but just not up to par with current champion Anderson Silva. So, it's interesting in deciding the matchups for a man like Rich Franklin. I mean you don't want to risk an up and comer against him, because even if Rich wins he won't be close to a title shot so it's not worth the risk and you don't want to feed him a can either, because he's been beating top guys and people still wanna see him fight top guys. That's why I chose for him to go up against Dean Lister. Dean is an amazing grappler and a very tough opponent. Rich would have his hands full in the fight, but on paper this is a fight Rich can win and with a win in this fight I'd set up a Franklin/Henderson fight.
Travis Lutter vs. Andrew McFedries- Man I kind of feel somewhat sympathetic for Travis Lutter. I'm not saying he didn't bring it upon himself, but I mean it must be really tough to fight the MW champ and the guy who is considered the best MW in the world, get him mounted and get him armbarred and still lose the fight and than come back and fight the guy many consider to be the 2nd best MW in the world get him mounted and fully armbarred and still lose the fight. If Travis only had some conditioning he could be a top MW, he was some great ground skills. For his next matchup I'd set him up against Adrew McFedries. It's the classic striker vs. grappler match and it's both of these fighters last chance to prove theirselves. I think this matchup would end quick and would make for either a KO of the night or a submission of the night contender, depending upon who would walk away with the victory.
Nate Quarry vs. Kalib Starnes Nate Quarry vs. Michael Bisping- Both fighters are popular (well at least Quarry is) and both have a lot of hype behind them. I think this would make for highly anticipated matchup. Both are strikers and both are very aggressive, so I think this would make for a very exciting fight. The winner would continue to ride the hype train, while the loser would have to work his way back up by fighting on Spike cards.
Kalib Starnes vs. Charles McCarthy- I'd definitely put this fight on the prelims, because it has the potential to be a fight that'd put you to sleep faster than nyquil, but I think it also has the potential to be a somewhat okay fight. Both Kalib and Charles are very similar in style. They both have questionable heart and below average striking, they also both have below average wrestling, but the one thing they both have going positive for them is a decent ground game. I think this fight would make it to the ground and from there, I think it'd be an interesting matchup. The winner would get to stay in the UFC while the loser for sure has gotta go.
Michael Bisping vs. Charles McCarthy Michael Bisping vs. Nate Quarry- (see Nate Quarry)
Charles McCarthy- (see Kailb Starnes)
Mac Danzig vs. Mark Bocek Mac Danzig vs. Rich Clementi- Rich has won 5 straight fights and I think he deserves the step up in competition and the chance to compete on the main card. That's why I'd match him up against Mac Danzig. This fight would be a tough test for Mac Danzig and would really give us a real good evaluation of where he ranks in the UFC LW division. I also think this fight would be exciting.
Mark Bocek vs. the loser of Terry Etim/Robert Emerson- Either matchup would make for an exciting fight. Both fighters would be coming off losses and they'd have even more motivation to come out gunning for the other. I think with this matchup would get a good gauge of both of these competitors.
Demian Maia vs. Ed Herman
Jason MacDonald -TKO- Joe Doerksen Rich Clementi -DEC- Sam Stout Jonathan Goulet -TKO- Kuniyoshi Hironaka Jason Day -TKO- Jason Day Cain Velasquez -TKO- Brad Morris

Demian Maia vs. Ed Herman Demian Maia vs. Jason Day- Both fighters were impressive in their last performances and they're both have a lot of potential in the UFC MW division. I'd throw these two up against each other and see who comes away with the victory. The winner would start to get hyped a little bit while the loser would go back to fighting on the undercard.
Ed Herman vs. loser of Grove/Tanner- If the matchup is Grove/Herman than it'll be an interesting fight, because the last time these two fought, they put on a great fight and the decision could've went either way, so it'd be interesting to see how a rematch would go. If the matchup is Herman/Tanner than it'd be interesting, because they would be both coming off losses and would both have a lot on the line in a fight like that. I think either matchup would be very exciting and interesting.
